Gottfried Silbermann is justly known as one of Germany´s most important organ builders. His life and work are closely connected with the development of the culture of baroque music.
His organs, the true queens of all musical instruments, can even today be found in many of the churches in the Central Germany. Silbermann’s style had a formative influence on the entire art of organ building and later epochs.
